  • Henderson Beach Resort

    Invited On a Press Trip to Henderson Beach Resort

    One of my favorite moments was being invited on a press trip to Henderson Beach Resort—somewhere I’ve admired for years. I’ve always loved the beautiful grounds, pool, and restaurant, so getting to stay there, dine, and capture it all through my lens felt incredibly special. It was such a full-circle moment to experience it firsthand and share that with my audience.

    Partnered with the Local Tourism Board

    Partnering with our local tourism board, Destin-Fort Walton Beach, has been such a highlight. Through that collaboration, I’ve gotten to experience activities like a dolphin cruise and pier fishing—things I wouldn’t typically do on an average day here, but ended up being so much fun. It reminded me how much there is to appreciate right in our own backyard.

  • Hosts "Walk & Talk" Events

    Hosting my monthly “Walk & Talk” events has been one of the most meaningful parts of Destin Snapshots. We gather at a local coffee shop, take a scenic stroll, then come back for treats, coffee, and conversation. It became such a sweet way to foster connection and community among local women.

about Destin.

  • Destin is called “The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village”

    Destin earned this nickname thanks to its incredibly rich fishing grounds. The deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico are just a short distance from shore, making it a prime spot for catching everything from red snapper to grouper.

  • The sand is actually Appalachian quartz

    Those bright white, super-soft beaches aren’t just pretty—they’re made of pure quartz crystal that washed down from the Appalachian Mountains over thousands of years. It's so soft and makes a distinct "squeaking" sound when you walk on it. 

  • Crab Island isn't actually an island

    One of Destin’s most famous attractions, Crab Island, is actually a submerged sandbar! Boats anchor in the shallow, crystal-clear water, turning it into a floating hangout spot where people relax, socialize, and soak up the sun. You may even see some dolphins swim by!
