RUN YOUR OWN CITY GUIDE

Become an Editor in your city

CREATE CONTENT, BUILD LOCAL RELATIONSHIPS, & BE KNOWN FOR IT
FIRST THINGS FIRST...

What IS a city guide?

Lindsay DeLong and Amy Cummins on the City Living Network Editor's Retreat on a sailboat in Laguna Beach.

A city guide is a locally run platform — part content, part community — where YOU serve as Editor-in-Chief, sharing the places you love, building relationships with local businesses, and becoming thee trusted voice in your city.

Each guide is run by one editor, with the intention of building something recognizable and personal over time.

What running a city guide looks like IRL

It’s a mix of content, connection, and showing up consistently in town.

  • You publish articles and social content

  • You work with local businesses

  • You attend events, openings, and press trips

  • You build a recognizable community presence

A NETWORK OF WOMEN

Who it’s for…

  • You’re connected to your city and know the local scene

  • You enjoy content, events, and discovering what’s happening around you

  • You want to build something of your own and be known for it locally

WHAT YOU'RE STEPPING INTO

This isn’t starting from SCRATCH

Two women sitting on a boat, both wearing sun hats and sunglasses, with one woman having a colorful headscarf and the other a wide-brimmed straw hat. They are dressed in white outfits, and one has a visible tattoo on her arm. The background shows a boat and the sky.

Each editor launches with a fully built city guide, branding, and a foundation of content — so you can focus on showing up locally, building relationships, and growing your presence with the structure and support already in place.

Over time, this turns into:

  • Invitations to events and openings

  • Partnerships with local businesses

  • Press trips and hosted experiences

  • A recognizable presence in your city

No two editors, or cities, are the same — but the support is always there.
