Kama is the voice behind Maui Makai, shaped by a life deeply connected to Maui and a global upbringing that gave her a wide lens on culture and experience.

Raised between traveling with her father’s band and spending time in Haiku, she developed an early appreciation for both adventure and grounded island living.

Her path has included studying with Hawaiian healers, creating an eco-luxury skincare line using local botanicals, and guiding others through the principles of aloha.

Through Maui Makai, she shares the island in a way that feels personal, intentional, and rooted in genuine connection.
